Yes, we take a deposit to cover loss or excessive damage to the bike. We also take a copy of some ID when you hire the bike (passport or Driving Licence).

When you hire a bike this includes bike, helmet, first aid kit and repair kit. If you also hire a guide this includes guide fees and guides transport to and from the ride. We may also be able to provide transport for you to the trailhead. Contact us to discuss.

We accept payment by BACS transfer and via Paypal. Details will be included in your invoice when you complete your booking.


Wear whatever is comfortable and appropriate for the weather forecast. Padded cycling shorts will make the ride more comfortable. It is recommended to have a sturdy pair of broken-in trail shoes, or sneakers. It is preferable to dress in layers and wear clothing that will wick away perspiration and keep you dry and comfortable.

We will provide a helmet, repair kit and first aid kit when you hire the bike. We can also provide a daysack or handlebar bag to carry some items. You should bring a lightweight waterproof jacket, warm jumper, and water bottle. You will need a packed lunch and some snacks in case you get hungry. We recommend you wear trail shoes or sturdy trainers when riding. Remember sun cream and your camera. You may wish to bring a change of clothes for after the ride.

Yes, of course. Contact us to discuss where you would like to go and we will make sure you get there. There may be an extra fee depending on where you want taken to.

We provide top of the range Mountain Bikes for our clients from brands like Scott and Ridgeback. All our bikes are maintained and serviced to a high-standard and come with front suspension and disc brakes.

This depends on which ride you would like to do. Our rides are aimed at normal, recreational riders – not elite athletes. The details for  each ride will give you a clear idea of the distance, ascent and time involved. Get in touch if you need any advice.

The best ride for you will depend on your experience, fitness and what you would like to see during the ride. We can help advise on the routes available. We can also design a bespoke itinerary for your requirements. If in doubt get in touch and we can advise.


If you are not able to make it for your booking you must let us know as soon as possible. Where we are able, we will transfer your booking to another convenient date. If this is not possible the following refunds will apply:

Cancellation 2 weeks prior – full refund

Cancellation 1 week prior – 50% refund

Cancellation up to 72 hours prior – 25% refund

Cancellation less than 72 hours prior – no refund.


Of course. After all, it’s meant to be an adventure! If the weather is unsafe for any reason, the trip may be changed or postponed. You will be notified the week of your trip if there are changes due to weather.
